Damaged IAB Relic

Original WWII German Infantry Assault Badge in relic condition. Excavated example with heavy corrosion. Approximately half of the oak leaf wreath is missing, the catch, hinge and pin are lost, and the badge is structurally damaged. The remaining details of the Wehrmacht eagle and crossed rifle are still visible. An original relic suitable as a display piece or for collectors of excavated German militaria.
