Exploded German Mauser K98 Rifle Grenade Launcher (Schiessbecher)

Original German Schiessbecher rifle grenade launcher for the Mauser K98k, recovered in relic condition. This example was destroyed by an explosion, leaving the launcher heavily fragmented while still retaining several recognizable original components.

The Schiessbecher was introduced in 1942 and was fitted to the muzzle of the Karabiner 98k, allowing German troops to fire a variety of anti-personnel, anti-tank, smoke, and signal rifle grenades.

This relic vividly illustrates the destructive forces experienced on the battlefield. The launcher body has ruptured and twisted by the detonation, making it an exceptional battlefield relic with strong historical character.
