Original RAD Officer's Soup Plate – KPM
Original WWII German Reichsarbeitsdienst (RAD) officer's porcelain soup plate manufactured by KPM (Königliche Porzellan-Manufaktur). The underside is marked with the sought-after "Modell des Amtes Schönheit der Arbeit" logo, featuring the emblem of the Schönheit der Arbeit ("Beauty of Labour") organization and the inscription "Echt Unterglasur" (true underglaze decoration).
The plate features the classic white glaze with a double blue rim, a pattern used in high-quality dining services supplied to officers' messes and official Reich Labour Service establishments during the Second World War.
A fine and increasingly difficult-to-find example of original WWII German porcelain, perfect for collectors of RAD, Third Reich porcelain, and military mess equipment.
