WWII German propaganda leaflet printed in Russian and German, intended for Soviet Red Army soldiers.

One side features a “Passierschein” (Safe Conduct Pass), encouraging Soviet officers, political commissars and soldiers to surrender or defect to German forces and their allied formations, including the Russian Liberation Army (ROA).

The leaflet includes two German Wehrmacht eagle emblems and instructions explaining that Soviet soldiers could cross over without a pass by raising both hands and shouting “Stalin kaput!”

The reverse side contains an anti-Stalin propaganda message urging Soviet soldiers to join the Russian Liberation Army (ROA) and fight against Bolshevism.

The leaflet is signed “Volunteers of the ROA (Russian Liberation Army)” and bears the printed code 1053/X.44, indicating October 1944.

Condition: Period paper with visible folding marks, creases, age-related discoloration and minor wear. Printing remains clear and legible on both sides.

An interesting piece of WWII German psychological warfare and Eastern Front propaganda history.

Suitable for collection or display.
