Original WWII German 3.7 cm Sprgr. – 3.7 cm Pak 36 HE Projectile with AZ 39 Fuze
Original WWII German 3.7 cm Sprenggranate (Sprgr.) high-explosive projectile, used with the 3.7 cm Pak 36 anti-tank gun.
The projectile retains a substantial amount of its original yellow/olive wartime paint, together with the original black stencilled marking “252”. The driving band and lower projectile body show typical age-related oxidation and wear.
Fitted with an original aluminium A.Z. 39 nose fuze. The fuze retains particularly nice and clearly visible markings, including “A.Z. 39”, “3,7 cm Kgr.”, “PV csg 1942”, inspection/Waffenamt-style markings and other production stamps.
The combination of surviving original paint, legible projectile stencil and a well-marked 1942-dated fuze makes this a very attractive example for a German artillery collection.
