Original WWII German MG15 wooden transport/storage box

Original WWII German MG15 wooden transport/storage box, marked “MG15 als Erd-MG” with visible wartime stenciling and Luftwaffe inventory markings. A rare and highly decorative field crate originally intended for the MG15 machine gun when adapted for ground use (“Erd-MG”).

The box retains its original wartime paint, metal corner reinforcements, carrying handles, hinges, and locking hardware. Interior remains complete with traces of the original mounting layout and compartments for MG15 accessories or components. Inside markings including “FL45791” and Luftwaffe acceptance stamps are still visible.

A very attractive display piece with authentic wartime wear, scratches, and service use patina throughout. Perfect for collectors of German WWII airborne equipment, Luftwaffe ground equipment, or MG15 related militaria.

Difficult to find in this condition with clear original markings and solid untouched appearance. An excellent addition to any WWII German militaria collection or display setup.
