Original WWII German MG42 Ammunition Belt

Original WWII German MG42 ammunition belt, recovered from the ground. An authentic battlefield relic consisting of original steel ammunition links connected in their original configuration.

The belt remains remarkably well preserved for a ground-dug example. Several maker's marks are still visible on the links, adding collector interest and confirming wartime production. The steel has developed an attractive aged patina with light to moderate surface corrosion consistent with decades underground.

The belt has not been restored, preserving its original relic character. An excellent display piece for collectors of original WWII German militaria, MG34/MG42 equipment, or battlefield relics.
